VTech
Baby's Learning Laptop
7.7/10 overallAround £20
A press-and-learn laptop toy covering letters, numbers, animals and early phrases.
VTech's Learning Laptop is built around structured content — letters, numbers, shapes, animal sounds — presented through big, colourful buttons designed for still-developing fine motor control. It leans further into pre-literacy content than a typical sit-to-stand toy, which makes it the better pick once a toddler has moved past pulling-up-to-stand and is ready for more focused learning play.
Compared with Fisher-Price's Smart Stages Chair, the laptop has no physical furniture role and won't help with standing practice, but its content depth for numbers, letters and early language is genuinely stronger, making the two a reasonable pair covering different developmental needs rather than direct substitutes.
