Baby Bullet
Baby Bullet Turbo Food Steamer
7.3/10 overall£34.52
A steamer and blender system from Baby Bullet, sized and designed specifically for batch-cooking baby food.
This is the batch-cooking answer to the Babycook's cook-fresh approach: cook a large batch of vegetables, meat or fruit however suits you (hob, oven, steamer, microwave), then blend it in the NutriBullet's short-cup jar and portion it straight into the included date-dial storage cups for the freezer. It's less hands-off per meal but far better suited to a weekend batch-cooking session that covers a whole week.
Because it's a genuine small blender rather than a dedicated baby appliance, it also keeps being useful well past weaning — smoothies, sauces, small blending jobs — which the single-purpose Babycook doesn't offer once your toddler moves to family meals.
The main downside against the Babycook is the extra step: you must cook the food separately before this can blend it, and the motor, while adequate for soft cooked food, struggles with tougher raw or fibrous ingredients the way a full-size blender wouldn't.
