Tutti Frutti Padded Nursing Bra

7.7/10 overall

£49.90

A padded, wire-free nursing bra with drop-cup access, sized up to a K cup for full bust support.

Reviewed by SepehrNot yet hands-on tested — based on research & published specs

This is the more structured option in the category: real padding, wire-free support engineered to actually lift rather than just stretch, and sizing that goes up to a K cup, which covers a genuinely wide range of body types that many maternity bra ranges simply do not accommodate. The drop-cup access for nursing is well designed too — one-handed, quick to use, which matters a great deal at 3am with a hungry newborn and not much patience for fiddly clasps.

Compared with the Bravado Body Silk Seamless in this category, the difference is support versus simplicity. Bravado's seamless stretch fabric is more of an all-day comfort bra with light support; this one is built to actually hold and shape, which larger-busted people in particular will notice and appreciate. That structure comes at a real cost, though — both financially (this is close to £50 versus Bravado's £38) and in terms of all-day-lounging comfort, since a more structured bra is inherently less like wearing nothing than a fully stretch-to-fit seamless one.

This is the better pick if you are larger-busted, want genuine lift and support rather than just stretch, or have found unstructured maternity bras leave you feeling unsupported as your bust changes through pregnancy. If you are smaller-busted, prioritise all-day softness over structure, or want the cheaper option that still does a perfectly good job for lighter support needs, the Bravado seamless bra is the better fit.

The trade-off worth being upfront about: because it is built with more structure, it is less suited to being your only, do-everything, lounge-around-the-house bra — some people find they still want a softer, unstructured option for sleep or very lazy days, and use this one more for daytime wear when support matters most. At nearly £50, it is also a meaningful spend, particularly if you will need more than one.

What we liked

  • Genuine support and lift up to a K cup
  • One-handed drop-cup access for night feeds
  • Wire-free but properly structured, not just stretchy

Where it falls short

  • Noticeably pricier than seamless alternatives
  • Less relaxed for all-day lounging comfort
  • A bigger spend if you need more than one
